Enum - TariffScheme

Key: enum.tariffScheme

How many tariff bands a distribution rate bills, and therefore which tariff series a retail electricity channel records. Replaces the three EM2 booleans on rates (high_tariff, low_tariff, spec_tariff) with one value. Decided 30 September 2026 together with the distribution-rate catalogue.

Values

ValueDescription
singleOne tariff band. The channel records one series, tariff = total. EM2 stored the same readings as the high tariff (segment 2); the migration maps them to total according to the rate valid at the reading time.
dualHigh and low tariff. The channel records tariff = high and tariff = low.
dualPeakHigh, low and a third, separately billed peak band. The channel records high, low and special. No rate in the EM2 catalogue carries this value today; kept so a future price decision does not need a schema change.
