Enum - GaugeKind
Key: enum.gaugeKind
Defines the structural kind of a gauge — whether it is a physical device installed on-site, a sub-circuit meter, or a computed/manually entered value. The kind determines which configuration options are available (e.g. outputMode is not applicable to virtual gauges) and how the system processes the gauge's measurements. Virtual gauges are further classified by virtualSubtype: computed (user-defined formula), manualInput (manual or invoice readings), and buildingTotal (system-managed formula, not shown in the gauge list).
Values
| Value | Description |
|---|---|
standard | A physical measuring device installed on-site and attached directly to a building node (e.g. main electricity meter, gas meter, heat meter). Participates in the building total calculation via outputMode. |
subGauge | A physical device measuring a sub-circuit of a parent standard gauge (e.g. floor-level electricity sub-meter, apartment meter). Must reference a parent gauge of kind standard via parentGaugeId. Participates in the building total calculation via outputMode. |
virtual | No physical device. Value is either computed from a formula over other gauges (virtualSubtype = computed), entered manually or via invoice import (virtualSubtype = manualInput), or auto-generated by the system as the building total (virtualSubtype = buildingTotal). Virtual gauges have no outputMode and never participate in building total auto-generation — they enter formulas only through explicit references. |
