Enum - ReadingSource
Key: enum.readingSource
Measurement dimension on reading identifying the origin of a value. Combined with type, direction, tariff, and format, it forms part of the composite identity used to distinguish readings for the same gauge at the same timestamp (e.g. a manual entry and a remote-connection reading for the same period are separate reading rows, distinguished by source). When more than one source reports a value for the same period, Enum - GaugeSourcePriority determines which one is trusted — that is a separate, downstream concern from this enum, which only identifies where a given reading came from.
Values
| Value | Description |
|---|---|
manual | Entered directly by a user through the reading form or bulk import. |
remote | Received automatically from a remote-connection (DO) device or provider. |
invoice | Derived from a supplier invoice, either entered manually or via bulk import. |
calculated | Computed by the system rather than received from an external source (e.g. a virtual gauge formula). |
