Enum - GaugeVirtualSubtype

Key: enum.gaugeVirtualSubtype

Further classifies a gauge of kind = virtual. Determines how the gauge's values are produced and controls system behaviour (visibility in the gauge list, whether the formula is user-editable, whether the gauge is system-managed). Null for gauges of kind = standard or subGauge.

Values

Value	Description
computed	Value is derived from a user-defined arithmetic formula over other gauges. Formula is stored as a structured expression referencing gauge IDs. Visible in the gauge list. isSystemManaged = false. Example: FVE self-consumption (C = A − B).
manualInput	Value is entered manually by the user or imported via invoice. No formula — readings are entered directly as delta or cumulative values. Visible in the gauge list. isSystemManaged = false. Example: cost allocation from a landlord invoice.
buildingTotal	Formula generated by the building total wizard or manually confirmed by the user. Represents the aggregate consumption of the building node for one medium. Not visible in the gauge list — accessible from the building detail page via the Building total formula section. isSystemManaged = true. One buildingTotal gauge is created per medium present in the building. Example: School Campus total electricity consumption.
